Elite Colombian Wives was founded by Rick and Maggy, an American and Colombian that discovered the beauty in combining two diverse cultures. After experiencing and understanding how strong true love can become between two people from two different countries, they wanted to find a way to share this with others. Rick is an American businessman and consultant who was divorced and was at a point in his life where he was ready to seek a life partner. Maggy, who had never been married, lived in Bogota and is a Colombian Lawyer was at a place in her life where she was ready and open to dating. The two met when Rick and Maggy both were on a business trip to Medellin. At first it seemed impossible since Rick hadn’t spoken Spanish in over 20 years and Maggy didn’t speak English. However, the chemical attraction for both was so strong that they decided to give it a chance and after two years, they both came to appreciate and understand the other’s cultures and families, overcoming the language barriers through time and patience to eventually being happily married.

They both have come to understand how much people from two different cultures can support and encourage each other. The Colombian culture is alive and beautiful, and the people are amazing.
